| Introduction | Hi, I live in the Northwest of the United States in Oregon. I live about 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean but we don't go to the beach much because the water is about 48 deg. F. all year long. The current brings cold water down from Alaska which makes the fishing good but is no good for swimming. Some people surf with wet suits though. |
