| Introduction | Sanourra is a name I created combining the French santé (health), and nourriture (food or nourishment). Basically, I'm a francophile who believes that sewing and pattern drafting are nourishment for my soul. I have a full time job outside of my home, so I find little bits and pieces of time to spend in the craft room. I'd probably spend all of my time outside of work in there, were it not for the enjoyment of my wonderful husband's company. He can always make me laugh. His blog is Clubbed To Death, listed under friends' blogs. He's got a link to his photos on deviant art there, as well. I also like to read, hike, travel, play video games, and spend time with my family and friends. I need to invent a way to create more time! |

| Favorite movies | Wall-E, Seven Pounds, Serenity (Joss Whedon), V for Vendetta, the LOTR Trilogy, Chronicles of Riddick (I have a serious Vin Diesel thing), Braveheart, Dangerous Beauty, Elizabeth (with Cate Blanchett), and I'll watch any costume films at least once. I also really enjoy martial arts films: almost anything with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and/or Jet Li in them. Ziyi Zhang and Michelle Yeoh kick ass as well. As for TV, I've started watching more series recently. Hubby and I are currently loving Chuck. I also like Heroes, Firefly, Rome, Legend of the Seeker, and Weeds. I'm sure I'd love The Tudors as well, but I'll have to convince HIM to give it a shot. He's got some Irish/Scottish prejudice against Queen Elizabeth. Pfft. |
