| Introduction | Though my name is pronounced like "Kia" the car company, I actually was born before anyone knew what that was. As my parents say, it's a Persian king's name because my dad grew up in Iran for the first half of his life. I find that my name suits me well though; it is both rare and exotic like my own perspective of the world. |
