Introduction | You know, the less said about me, the better. There are a few members of Michigan's law enforcement community still looking for me. Just read the blog, peaches. So what is this blog about? Well, I see people losing it everywhere because peak oil is shrinking our economic pie and big surprise, on the other end the .1% plutocracy is grabbing more and more slices of that pie. Talk about burning the candle at both ends! But, instead of adapting to the inevitable changes that peak oil is bringing, people act like they're entitled to a lifetime of cheap toxic shit made in China and sold at Walmart by exploited workers. That's denial. Here's a news flash: you're not entitled to live like a king and you might not even have the Walmart imitation much longer. Of course after denial comes anger. And oh the plutocracy gives you lots of things to turn that anger toward, so you don't get angry about their collective hand in your pocket. I see all this and I think, people might benefit from the perspective of someone who's gone all the way to acceptance. |
Interests | backpacking, homesteading, gardening |
Favorite movies | Roadhouse. It's like Being A Man 101 and the tuition is free. |
Favorite books | The Road. I heard they made a movie of it, but I think it was on the ABC Family Channel or something. I figured it lost something in the Disney translation, so I never saw it. |
