IntroductionDo you believe in Angels?...I certainly do...Read Hebrews 13:2 (Don't forget to be kind to strangers, for those who have done this have entertained Angels without realizing it)...Most Americans are raised on the Christian ethics of the Ten Commandments, one of them being, "Thou shalt not kill"...And, then, a few of us join a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and are sent off to war...Turning on the kill switch in a fire fight in a foreign land is a terrible reality...In time, you're replaced on the battlefield, put on a flight back to the U.S., processed out of the Army and back home in less than 72 hours...But, turning off the kill switch and adjusting to a post-war era Houston neighborhood can be even more challenging...It is my belief that when you take something out of the world, God expects you to put something back into the world...I came home on Halloween Day in 1966 after spending 15 months in Vietnam...My job back home was working on the 2nd shift at night...I liked that...Nighttime was quiet; nighttime was my friend, my protector and provided safety...Later, I went to college on the G.I. Bill and became a teacher...It took me 15 years to realize something...What was it?
