Introduction	I was born in Venice, Italy, but I live in Berlin. I have a PhD in English literature, since I love the language of Shakespeare and Jane Austen. When the sun sets and it's time for a cup of tea, I forget reality and sink in the enchanted world of my books. Books are everything, they possess everything, and can possess you. When all is silent and peaceful I open this web journal and write, searching in my memories for the most poignant, unforgettable and sweetest readings, and evoke the most important authors of my life. I love reading and writing new stories; the stream of words is constant in my thoughts, and what I see, and what I hear, combine with the words and recall other places and other times, other lives, other values and other hopes. In this blog I look for, and try to give you, the sacred peace of literature. I hope you, my readers, would like to share it with me, leaving sometimes a comment, a track, a footprint of your passage.
