| Introduction | Growing up in the Northeast regions of New Jersey I had my first introductions to wine. It unfortunately was not a memorable experience. Family dinners were regularly paired with sweet pink fermented grape juice. It was not until I had the opportunity to travel through Europe as a member of the US Navy that I discovered my liking of the wines that were served regularly at outdoor cafes and eateries. I needed to learn about what this stuff was that I was experiencing throughout Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and other beautiful locations. As time passed I developed a strong passion for wine, doing all I could to expand my knowledge of the subject. As it became more evident that I wanted to do something serious within the world of wine I became certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers and recently started the Wine Consigliere. As I continue my journey and education to hopefully someday becoming a Master sommelier I aim to provide the utmost quality in wine service to others through various means. I am currently based out of Richmond, Va. but make regular trips to the metro NY/NJ and DC regions. Geography is never an issue. Cheers to all! |
