| Introduction | I'm a normal guy who likes to have a good time, but is able to draw the line between fun and serious. My goals in life drive me to 1) love and serve my God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength; 2) love my wife and be her helpmate and friend; 3) love and raise my kids to be God's prince and princesses; 4) love and teach my students to be passionate about quality music making and making a positive contribution to society. My favorite color is orange...the brighter the better. I have been married to my wonderful, beautiful wife, Becky, for 9 1/2 years! We have two gorgeous daughters - Adrianna is 5 1/2, and Eliza is 3. God just blessed us with a baby boy - Caleb Eric Steven - who is 14 months old already! If you enjoy the content of this blog, and would like to see pictures that commemorate the events, then you should check out my wife's blog, located at gurkfamily.blogspot.com, because I'm not very good at getting pictures up. |
