About me

Introduction	Hello! I have been teaching for 30+ years. I love children's art better than grown up art. I love reading children's literature and enjoy hearing the stories my students write more than most adult work- so the job of a teacher seemed a natural fit. Most important of all, like most first graders, I love learning new things and celebrating new learning. When at home I take advantage of Portland's events, movies, theater and foodie fun. I can be found reading, body surfing, reading, dancing, reading, cross-country skiing... and any other similar outside activity made even better when shared with my husband, daughter, son or our goofy dog Marco! One of my greatest passions is travel - I will go anywhere anytime. How about you?
