Introduction	I was born in New York and have been living in Chicago since 1987. Professionally I work as a cancer risk genetic counselor, helping families with a hereditary susceptibility to cancer (or a higher risk for cancer). I am the mother of two (Isabella and Dylan), wife of one (Jeff)and managed to acquire these titles in the reverse order. I have had a love for music since childhood when I learned guitar and sang solos in grammar school performances. In my later years, I studied and performed jazz vocals at local bar and lounge venues for fun and at an occasional wedding, my own included. In my spare time, I love to see a great singer, musician, or band. I have a wide range of taste and really appreciate anyone with musical talent and the ability to banter and interact with an audience well.
Interests	Music and the arts, movies, books, sports, the great outdoors, travel, genetics and science, creativity, jazz vocals, fundraising and raising fun, my children, husband, friends and family!
Favorite movies	High Fidelity!
Favorite music	Then I would not be impartial. Suffice it to say it is varied.
