| Introduction | My name is Genevieve Comtois and as long as I can remember, I've always loved costumes. I started back when I was very young. I was hand-sewing wannabe victorian dresses for my Barbies. Then I got into fantasy literature and started recreating what I imagined the clothes of these novel heroes could be. Later, I started belly dancing and 7 years ago, I got into tribal - my costume passion followed. I have a deep fascination for the relation between people and costumes, how clothes define us and help us express feelings and expectations. |
