| Introduction | Hi my name is Ivette Hernandez. I am from Houston TX, but i have been living in Austin for the past 3 years now. I am currently going to school for my Registered Nurse degree. I have been attending ACC for 3 years now, and planning to transfer to Texas State by the end of the spring semester to further my education to a bachelors degree in science. I have never voted in my life, mainly because i was not old enough or was not registered, but i plan to be prepared for the next election. I'm taking this class for it is a step toward my major, and i hope to gain a better understanding and knowledge about my state and local government. I would like to learn everything that is important for an individual to know about their state and local government. I did fairly well on the Texas General Knowledge quiz, but poorly on the Texas Political Knowledge. I hope that changes by the end of the semester! |
