| Introduction | I am a homeschooling mother of 6 kids. I married Shawn in 1996 and after a VERY hellacious first 8 years he now my best friend. If it had not been for the Holy Spirit continually telling us both to just “Hang On” and His Word that reminded us daily to love, forgive, and BELIEVE we would have left our awesome kids with a broken home long ago. It is my desire to bring the Word of God to our day-to-day REAL living. This means to me the areas that most of us are afraid to expose out of fear of what others would think. Jesus came for the ugly, the broken, the failure, the confused, the hopeless, the overweight, the addicted, and the violent. Christianity is not for the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, who have need of nothing, but the UGLY. I am not talking about money or status or physical beauty but the state of the heart that despairs openly or in hiding. Come with me and let me share my walk with you. I hope to encourage you to believe that Jesus loves you and that there is acceptance and HOPE for ANYONE who will simply believe that all you need is…THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD! |
