| Introduction | The title of this blog is what I like to think I am - and what I am becoming. Disciple, to be clear, means disciple of Jesus Christ. I spent most of my life in PA, but moved to IA in 2000, now to MO in 2011. I was educated at a Christian liberal arts college (The name has been omitted to protect them from any heresy I may produce here!) and hold an undergraduate degree with majors in Bible and Psychology. I have done a little post-graduate study by correspondence, but hold no advanced degrees. I have spent nearly 30 of my 50-odd years in Christian music and pastoral ministry, and though I am not currently professional in either, I still enjoy participating in both. I am blessed with the most wonderful wife a man could have, and we recently celebrated our 33rd year of marriage. I have three grown children of whom I am very proud and whom I love dearly. All of the above can tell you stories about my shortcomings and failures, which is why THEIR email addresses DO NOT APPEAR on this site! |
