Why do you think honeydew is the money melon?
Mostly, Honeydew is the money melon because its the sort of fruit thats balled up in a salad by hard-working catering cooks for corporate luncheons. A few are placed on your plate to color it up and appear healthy, even though you'd rather have a donut. Honeydew is never passed up at functions, and remains the "Money Melon".
