| Introduction | My name is Courtney and I am a Public Relations student. I graduated from Brock University with a degree in Media Communications, and as such was forced to take film classes as part of my program. I guess you can say I've been gently coerced into appreciating film because of my education. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Roger Ebert (although if you wish to draw comparisons I won't argue with you), but my background in film has given me a good appreciation and ability to critique movies for the everyman. Not to mention that movies are pretty much my life. I look forward to awards season like normal people look forward to holidays. I believe so much can be conveyed through film and I sincerely hope you get a taste of this passion through my writing. Enjoy! |
