Introduction	It is amazing how easy it is to talk or write about so many things, but when you are suddenly asked to talk “about me” it seems impossible to come up with the right words. Why have I decided to start this blog? I am no professional chef, nor am I a writer, or a professional food photographer, BUT I am passionate about food. My mother was a great cook, as was her mother, and I grew up in house full of the scents and flavours of Europe. By the time I realized my passion for food they were both gone, and so were their recipes. So, I had to start ‘from scratch’ so to speak. I love to think about food, what will I eat next, what to cook for dinner, where to go to eat, what do I want to learn to cook and so on and so on and so on. Plump Pears is my foray into my passion for food. My tales, trials, inspirations and frustrations with food. For those who find me, I hope you enjoy my thoughts and I would love to hear your feedback.
