Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
I stop, pull out a guitar, and start singing The Hero of Canton. Can't play guitar, but that just makes it more convincing. As they sing along and someone talented takes over the guitar, I steal their money purses and arrows and make a quick getaway. ^^
