Introduction	I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and teacher. I was born in Buffalo(NY),lived in N.C., Virginia, Delaware, Rochester(NY), Idaho, Pennsylvania, Seattle (sort of), and ended up in Texas. I have visited most of Europe, especially Denmark and France, as well as Canada, Mexico, China, Japan, Hawaii and Alaska, and now even Australia and New Zealand. I have been blessed with a husband (Ken) for 39 years, two daughters, Casey and Jennifer, two great sons-in law, Heikki and Dan,two fabulous grandchildren, Markku and Suvi, two exchange kids, Flemming and Marc-- and their families--and two dogs, Tazi and Penny. I sometimes take for granted how much I have to be thankful for--I hope this blog will help to keep me mindful of all the extraordinary moments--and people--in my life.
