| Introduction | Kia Ora, Talofa Lava and Mālō e lelei! My name is Kueni Schaumkel and I am super excited to begin my first year on board the Summer Learning Journey programme 2019-2020. I have just wrapped up my final year of my Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree & am looking forward to stepping into my first teaching position as a year 8 teacher at Auckland Normal Intermediate in 2020! I am born and bred in Onehunga, Auckland and come from a very close knit family of 6 in which I am the middle child of 5 girls and 1 boy. I’m also an aunt to two beautiful kiddies & I spend a lot of my spare time taking them out to parks, beaches, pools or spoiling them rotten. I don’t have any specific hobbies as I enjoy spending my spare time indulging in a range of things from reading books, playing sports, journaling, playing board games, spending time outdoors & with my family + friends. I am so pumped, I can’t wait to find out more about you all & I look forward to reading your blogs! |
