| Introduction | I am a professional dancer who "retired" from classical ballet four years ago due to difficulties with my height (I am 5'11" and in the ballet world I might as well be a giant) I have been teaching ballet and have found a very strong love in my new career path. However, at 28 while most of my friends are thinking about the next transition in their careers I have decided to give dancing another shot. This time instead of dreams of tutus and tiaras I am going to embrace my height and try my hand at the world of contemporary ballet. Follow me as I begin working with a new company, juggling my current teaching career, and still finding time to be a wife to my new husband. |
