Introduction Published fine artist and author. Offering "Healing Mural Art": Uniquely Inter-active story-telling wall art.
Interests I love all things Anthropological (except monkeys - ew), including the laborious clinical papers with big words on juicy digs, new etymology connections or deliciously obscure, wholly unsubstantiated cultural theories. I am passionate about all things Theatre Arts, regretting I quit piano lessons at 14 and am limited now to only playing a few hymns for fun. I don't know what my excuse is for Spanish; me gusto muchisimo pero no puedo hablar como una nativa. Que lastima! I fearlessly crave la oportunidad to practice with anyone, anytime. I will never ever read "Twilight" or "Harry Potter", so don't ask. I am resistant to historical fiction, preferring the ridiculously fascinating twists of the real thing. I am not afraid of skeletons in the closet of World History, but I refuse to accept blame for what my ancestors did to your ancestors a really long time ago. I mean, if you go back far enough in anyone's family tree, somebody was outrageously rude to somebody. It's more about potable resources and the shameless greed of human nature than anything else - and it always works both ways. I believe the Bernina sewing machine ought to be considered for a Nobel Prize, and JoAnn's Fabrics & Crafts, Inc. ought to be publicly shamed for buying out competitors and then systematically closing shop - leaving an unforgivable, sucking void in the East & Central Phoenix area. I also believe one of the most common mistakes adults make when dealing with children is to vastly underestimate their capacity. Shame on us. I firmly believe we will answer one day for how we have treated animals, but I do not endorse dressing them up in little wedding dresses or tiaras. I am a natural visual-thinker, Watercolor Diva, costume & props nut, a teaching-kids-the-joy-of-singing-and-love-of-literature maniac, thrilled to be a grandmother/mama and a lover of beautiful language and the magic of words. (Not that you would know from this little prize, but I'm O.K., you're O.K.).
