| Introduction | I'm 24, married and have a son that's about a 2 and a half years old. There's the short version. Now for the longer version. The title Happiness Of The Day came from facebook statuses. I've done that for a long time, years in fact. I thought of something good for that day usually something simple or that things are not worse. There are days that it's rather hard to think of something good for the day but it's healthier to be positive, right? I grew up in Connecticut and went to college in Utah a semester late since my dad passed from pancreatic cancer. There I met my husband and at the end of my junior year a cavernous malformation in my brain stem bled, so I basically had a stroke. When I had my bleed I was about 4 months pregnant. My son was full term even though he wanted to come the day after I had brain surgery. Instead of 4 months early he was just 10 days early. I've been working on recovering ever since that bleed and trying to accept the 'new' me and my 'new' life. |
