| Introduction | This blog is a journal. It will record the events of my life, my struggles and my triumphs. The words I write here are mine and mine alone; they are a catharsis. Here is the one place where I can truly be myself and express my deep-seated need for control and self-awareness. For those of you who are looking for tips, tricks or advice on how to 'become' ana, then this blog will be a huge disappointment to you. I do not condone trying to develop an ED. It is a disease and a difficult one to battle at that. I should also state that I am not anorexic. I have been diagnosed with EDNOS, but I describe this site as pro-ana, as ana is the one with whom I feel a deep, abiding affinity. Some of the content I will post here is not suitable for all ages. It is also not suitable for anyone who is in recovery, or trying to recover. To those of you who are on the path to recovery, I wish you well and send you my heartfelt blessings.
