Favorite Music hard to say. love sufjan stevens, tom waits, kings of convenience, david crowder band, ABBA...the paste compilations are amazing - they never suck! same with the esopus CDs.
Favorite Books The Bone People by Keri Hulme Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving The Favourite Game and Beautiful Losers by Leonard Cohen Afloat in my Mother's Palm and The Hotel of the Saints by Ursula Hegi In the Skin of A Lion by Michael Ondaatje Poetry (any, really; though Anne Carson is a particular fave), especially epic lyrics and contemporary language poets.

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

who is your favourite artist? Ann Hamilton, Antony Gormley, Christian Boltanski are my big three. Egon Schiele, Anselm Kiefer and Kiki Smith are probably my next three. And Bosch, Fra Angelico and Rembrandt don't exactly suck either. even so, there are literally hundreds of names written in my sketchbooks...
