| Introduction | I'm a very nice person, seriously. I live with three rescued greyhounds. The state of my house is an embarrassment (dog-hair tumbleweeds, anyone?), and I wish I could say that it's because I'm too busy knitting. I'm just lazy. I've been a high-school maths teacher for 27 years, even though I did Primary school training. I wish I could knit and watch Dr Phil and The Bold and the Beautiful all day, instead of having to go to work and pretend to be a grown-up, even though I sometimes have grown-up thoughts and opinions. I like writing short sentences, interspersed with very long-winded and convoluted ones, peppered with lots of punctuation and obtuse references to what my brother calls my 'bizarre and random' memories of obscure things.... I don't have a lot of staying power, which goes a long way to explaining why I have a bazillion "started" projects on the needles, and why my house is always a mess of clutter... I'm off for a nap, might add to this later..... |
