Introduction	I live in downtown Frederick, MD with my husband, kitty and two pups. I became a vegetarian in 2007 and a vegan on January 1st of 2008. Becoming a vegan was the most liberating, empowering, compassionate thing I've ever done for myself (and for the animals!). I'm also an RN and am currently the IT Manager of Clinical Applications for three hospitals. We spend our summers traveling to as many music festivals as we can and our winters playing in the snow (if we are lucky enough to get some in Maryland).
