Unlike a dog, how can a turtle ever be naked?
A turtle can be naked when it emerges from its shell--I mean this in the metaphysical sense, since physically this isn't entirely possible. Only when the turtle "emerges" and allows itself to be truly known by another being, thus becoming truly vulnerable, can it be naked.
