| Interests | Raised in southern Virginia and having spent most of my life there, I opted for a real change when I packed my bags for Maryland five years ago. I'm presently organizing and reviewing my next options in case this blog thing doesn't work out. Thinking that I'd be really good at many things, I'm most intrigued by tree climbing, dog walking, knitting pet sweaters, and street sweeping. For now though, I'm just hoping for the best and interviewing life coaches to help me find the right path. Like the plague, I avoid bananas, Twitter, and political correctness. I spend my days watching alien abduction documentaries and reading gossip magazines. One day, I hope to publish both a work of fiction and a book of memoirs, but if the latter happens, I'll probably be shunned by all acquaintances and be diagnosed as clinically simple by my doctor. My husband and I have been happily married for five years. In addition to a well-adjusted, beautiful daughter and two great step-kids, I have a lovably disobedient dog who knows 32 English words and two grumpy cats who respond to no commands in English but who manage to stalk us night and day. |
