| Introduction | I love crafting! I have been making things as long as I can remember. My mother is very creative and that's probably where I got it from. I can remember from a very early age picking up beads off her bedroom floor that she had dropped from her project and trying to make something with them. My mother is also an expert seamstress and taught me to sew. My ethnic culture is rich with embroidery, ceramics, beadwork and woodwork. Crafting was all around me as I was growing up. My twin sister is a fantastic painter and if she allows me, I will post some photos of her work. I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of MD, but computers are not my passion - crafting is. If I could do it all over again, I would study something artsy fartsy! I have been selling on Etsy since Nov of 2009 and I absolutely love it! My shop has all kinds of wonderful creations mostly from wood or felt. I am a proud member of an Etsy team called the Old Farmhouse Gathering - a great team of crafters. |
