| Introduction | I started this blog for those who have asked me: "How did you do that?". So let me say this first: I am by no means an expert in anything! What makes me happiest, however, is the journey I am on to make a beautiful and happy home for my husband and daughter. I love to sew (even though I only have at best basic sewing skills), garden, cook and decorate. Most of all I love a good deal and try to do everything as cost-consciously as possible - even the extensive renovations we have begun on our 1975 stone farm home. This blog is a way for me to share my DIY projects, fabulous thrifty finds, favourite recipes and simple sewing projects. Hope you enjoy! |
