| Favorite Movies | Anything with a little left of center humor, romantic comedies like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, What Women Want, and the like. Dan and the BIGS like action flicks like Rush Hour, Transformers, Avatar, etc. and the Little One likes Disney/Pixar movies and Veggie Tales. |
| Favorite Music | We all have our own style. Dan prefers classic rock, I like Contemporary Christian and Southern Gospel Quartets, and the boys are developing their own tastes as they grow up. D leans toward rock, P prefers dub-step/techno, and Derek is just starting to have an opinion. Right now, he's loving funk. Oh my. |
| Favorite Books | I love historical fiction books by Janette Oake and Lori Wick. Liz Higgs Curtis writes some of the best modern/biblical times dramatizations and current applications with hilarity and serious depth that you never saw coming ever. The Left Behind series changed my life. Because I spend my life knee deep in toddlers, I must add everything Dr. Suess, plus anything by the Veggie Tales team, and The Napping House. And everything by Jen Hatmaker, who "Interrupted" my life by writing "7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess". Crystal Paine writes the best books about home life, organization and frugality and Jessica Fisher rocks my socks off with her recipes, meal plans and eating healthy on a small budget. |
