| Introduction | In 1999 two souls met and fell in love. It has been a whirlwind adventure since then. We have been trying to conceive the whole time. I have a severe androgen disorder, PCOS, incompetent cervix and MTHFR gene mutation (it causes clots to form in the placenta.) We have done 6 rounds of clomid, 4 rounds of pergonal and have lost three babies through miscarriage.. We did IVF in May 2007, which resulted in the premature birth of our twin boys, Daniel and Andrew at 24 weeks. They both died with in a week of their birth. They are now Warriors in Heaven. Since then we have had a failed Frozen Embryo Transfer, and 2 canceled IVFs. We are extremely happy to have adopted Elora in February of 2009. The ache is gone and we are overjoyed. |
