| Introduction | My obsession for design started when I was a girl making barbie dolls houses out of gift boxes, a Sears catalog, tissue boxes for beds and tissues for sheets and curtains. I was in my own world. I would recycle everything in high school to make my room "artsy" I painted my old wood bunk beds, made bedspreads and curtains , Yes, I can sew.I even painted a kool wall mural on my side of the room. When I left for college all I could think about is what color and style my room would be. So, I found a couple of wood parson tables, painted them and put some kool foiled contact paper, green and yellow. I found a huge aluminium piece rolled up and made an kool art piece for my wall. Yes, of course I majored in interior design. The rest is history, as I begin the rest of my life recycling sofas, hand painting fabrics, and furniture. For 4 decades this has been my life, my passion, my dream. Recycle, restyle, repurpose has always been my life. |
