Introduction I am a graduate of the U of S with a bachelors in Kinesiology. I did my first yoga class in January 2003 after breaking my arm in a car accident and was unable to train with my team. A few classes here and there led to a summer membership with Yoga Central and a deeper understanding of the physical benefits of yoga. I jumped at the opportunity to take the YogaFit Certification course in fall of 2006. With 2 years of teaching the YogaFit style I and had the desire to take my yoga education further. I left for a year to a job teaching a sports/yoga class at an English Immersion camp in South Korea. I found American teacher Michael Egan and the Maru yoga school and began a 6 month 200-hour yoga teachers training course in Power Vinyasa. I then sought out a course in the more traditional spiritual, healing side of yoga and found the Agama yoga school in Thailand. An esoteric tantric school which opened my eyes and heart to the world of chakras and universal resonance. I completed an intensive 150-hour course with Agama and returned home to Saskatoon excited to share the wonders of yoga. I have committed myself full-time to the teaching, practice and study of yoga.
