Introduction	I am married and have an amazing son, Jacob, who I adore more than anything in this entire world!! My son has a very rare disease called Niemann-Pick (type A/B) and it is because of him that I was inspired to enter into the world of blogging. A few things about me: - Family is the most important thing in my life! - During the day I work a full-time job in health care, while my hubby stays home with our son before going to his night job. - I spend all of my non-work hours with my family and enjoy every minute of time spent with my "little man" Jacob, even if it's at 4:00 a.m. It is my hope that this blog will serve as a means for our family & friends to receive on-going updates about Jacob and our family’s experience with Niemann-Pick. I have received a tremendous amount of knowledge and support following other Niemann-Pick family blogs/facebook pages, so I hope this blog provides some level of support to other families. Most importantly, I hope that by sharing Jacob's story, others will be inspired to live each day in the moment.
