| Introduction | I'm Lane. I like to draw. I like to write. I am 16. I have glasses. I have 2 cats. I don't type correctly. I play the piano, but like odd, obscure, or novel instruments (such as the jaw harp, otamatone, or melodica). I need to learn the harmonica. I am interested in cryptozoology. I like history. I like speaking in foreign accents. I like to ski. I like Stonehenge. I like Photoshop. I enjoy debating, particularly on the subject of faith, evolution, God, or the Bible (as long as I have the Internet as a resource). I'd like to learn Norse, Russian, or Gaelic at some point, just for their aesthetic value. I like movies. I like magic, but cannot do it. I am frequently cited as looking like Harry Potter. I have white walls. I cannot whistle, snap my fingers, or touch my toes. I have developed my own scripts/alphabets. I like monkeys. I can read and understand Latin. I’d like to travel to Iceland, the Orkney Islands, or Rapa Nui. But underneath all these exterior quirks, who am I really? A friend, a role model, a learner, a follower of Christ? More than just "that guy who draws cool pictures?". Perhaps. Perhaps not. Perhaps you could help me on my journey to becoming one of those. |
