| Introduction | When logic & reason provide proof that runs contrary to our understanding of scripture, it is best to allow reason to reign & know that it was man's interpretation that was flawed; not the eternal truth of god. - St Francis I love to read, write, surf, and take it as easy as possible. I grew up in a fundamentalist southern pentecostal household. As I got older I began to question more & more everything I was raised to believe. Alot of it did not make sense to me and I refused to believe in this faith just because my parents and their parents did. And now over a decade later, what began as a question for TRUTH has evolved into a quest for TRUTH. I am fully aware that all of what I DO know is a molecule in the ocean of what I DON'T know. And I whole-heartedly believe this statement holds true for the entire human race. I tend to keep a 'To each his own' mentality and try to adjust my views to the mid-swing of the pendelum, neither too far to the right nor left. |
