| Introduction | I'm an American male, married to a Belgian and after living together for nearly 15 years in the USA, we've relocated to her homeland. Her hometown, even. We've been living in Belgium together for just over a year as of the creation of this blog (September 2008). Before I even moved, a friend suggested I start a blog. I thought it was an interesting idea, but never really thought about it seriously. Who wants to read about what I'm doing anyway? Well, after a year of interesting experiences that don't seem to be ending soon, I've decided that, just maybe, I have enough material that could interest a person or two. Or at least provide a reasonable distraction for a few minutes. I will post my observations and experiences related to moving to and living in Belgium. Hopefully this will be entertaining, interesting, and maybe even informative and useful. Even if nobody reads this, it gives me something to do. |
