| Introduction | Well I've always been a bit mad. My junior school teacher said I was a masochist - always jumping out of trees or trying to kill people in rugby. So no surprise then that I'm always up for a challenge. Done loads of activities like climbing, caving, abseiling. Only joined the TA cos I love assault courses - show me a charity assault course race and I'm there. Done quite a bit of running - up to 50 mile races, and some on moors in the middle of winter at minus 15 wind chill or up in the Lakes with 80mph winds. Nothing much worries me. So really looking forwards to this jaunt and the training will be fun too. |
