| Introduction | Real estate is always entertaining, never boring, but I haven't always enjoyed what the past 20 years of growth has done to W. Washington. I suppose change is endemic in this culture, so it's probably best to adapt without too much whining and complaining. Besides, too much whining and complaining tags you as an 'old fart,' and I've been working hard at cutting back on my output of hot air. I intend to look at real estate issues in a NON-POLARIZING fashion. There are usually valid points to everyone's argument, but not all arguments are supported by facts. It's hard to keep our personal agendas out of discussions, but I believe that real progress is made by examining ALL the facts, even those that don't support our personal agendas. I DON'T share the outlook of the Realtors, the mouthpiece of many agents, who seem to prefer solving all housing problems with more subdivisions and paved roads. Current public opinion in W. Washington seems to oppose additional roads and subdivisions. Preventing ALL growth is probably not the answer either. In the blog, I'd like to explore ALL sides of current real estate issues, not just the party line, and look for the bigger picture. |

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
First, insert several thousand micro-sized nuclear bombs just under the skin. Each bomb will be electronically connected in series so that, at the given radio frequency detonator signal, each bomb detonates sequentially, thus producing a de-peeled apple all in one go.
