| Introduction | I am a busy mom of six children living on the east coast and longing for Arizona. I know - the east is a far cry from anything so much as resembling Arizona. I hope to retire to Arizona someday though that may take a while since I am only 38 and my husband 41. We would move sooner but my husband shares custody of my beautiful step-daughter, Mary, and we could never move her away from her Mom and Big sister and moving without her is just not an option. So here I am calling the east home. Speaking of my husband I am married to Brian Shahan, (Matthew Brian Shahan to be exact). We have been married nearly 14 years but most days it feels like we just met. I love being a mom to our children but sometimes I feel as If motherhood causes some odd form of brain damage (any other mom reading this knows exactly what I am talking about). So here I am typing away and sharing with all of you my jorney through life, wich includes a very acitive life in geneology as I try my hardest to locate the upper portion of my Purdy family tree.
