| Introduction | This charity was started by 3 knitting friends Debbie, Christina & Rae(me). One morning while chatting online like we usually do. Debbie sent a link to an article about life on the Lakota reservation. After reading the article needless to say we were all horrified to read about the way the people there had to live. While talking about it Debbie filled us in on how her mom lives on a reservation & how life for the people there is hard. People there are in dire need of things like hats, scarves, blankets or even squares for blankets. So we decided to start a charity called Knitting For Hope. Through starting this our hope is that no one will go without. |
