| Introduction | Welcome to the Catholic Holocron! Your source for everything Catholic and nerdy. This blog aims to take fantasy franchises, such as Star Wars, Marvel, and the Lord of the Rings, and relate them to our Catholic faith. So what is a holocron? In Star Wars lore, a holocron is an ancient Jedi artifact that archives repositories of knowledge and wisdom that can only be opened by a force user. Jedi and Sith use holocrons to preserve their teachings of the Force and pass them down to future generations after the holocron creator has long passed. Similarly, Catholics have the deposit of faith passed down from the apostles to the present day. The Catholic Holocron will pass down this depository of faith through in depth analogies of modern day fantasy elements. |
