Introduction	I am a Western Washington University alumna with a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences; I majored in political science. At age 8, I was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder, and I use a power wheel chair for mobility. I have the dream of creating my own business with the intention of teaching corporations how to hire people with disabilities. I want to show the world that people with disabilities are people and are capable of more than the status quo suggests. I also want to show others with disabilities that they do not have to accept nor live down to society's expectations. I love to get together with friends, read books, travel, and be a part of my wonderful family. Sports are also a big part of my life. Even though I am not the one playing, I enjoy watching football and basketball games, as well as, cheering on my sister's track team. Overall, I love the Lord and I know He has a plan for my life. I have the desire to do everything to the best of my ability, and to be the person I was made to be.
