| Introduction | Horticulture Therapy is the use of plants and plant related activities to improve the mind body and spirit of different populations. I have worked with seniors in indepenent livinging and assisted living facilities as well as Alzheimer units and nursing homes. This includes working with people having a multitude of impairments. I have also worked with childrean at ARC, a womens eating disorder residential treatment program, mentall health facilities and hospitals. The American Horticulture Therapy Association was created in 1973, and I am a Registered Horticulture Therapist. |
