| Introduction | I'm a 33 year old woman. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease in March 2006; I was 11 weeks pregnant with my third child. I underwent 6 rounds of ABVD while carrying my son, Alexander James. He was born healthy and happy on August 28. Since his birth and subsequent PET scans I have been re-diagnosed with Primary Refractory Disease. I had a Auto Stem Cell transplant in Jan. 07 and then radiation. I am dancing with NED but all the treatment has left me dealing with a lung condition and now spinal cord injury due to the radiation. I am confined to a wheelchair at the momenent fight to keep my arms and legs. I pray to god that I will keep my upper extermities from paralysis and maybe get out of this chair one day. |
