| Introduction | Mrs. Mahaffey is the gifted facilitator for 7th and8th grade students at Palmyra Middle School. She is also the reading coach. Prior to becoming the gifted facilitator, she was a 6th grade LEAD (content reading) teacher at Palmyra and a second grade teacher in a the West York Area School District. Mrs. Mahaffey has a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University. Her masters degree in Reading/Language Arts is also from Millersville University. She is certified in Elementary Education (K-6) and as a Reading Specialist (K-12). |
