Introduction I am a teacher who decided to go back to school. I taught high school English, speech, and debate for a couple decades (the majority at Lely High School, Naples, FL) and last year picked up an MA in communication at the U of Miami (grad thesis on sociology of high school debate). I'm currently enrolled in the PhD program in public com at Georgia State in Atlanta. I'm Minnesota born and raised. Marsha and I have been married for 30+ years and we have three children - all married - and four beautiful grandchildren.
Interests rhetoric, sociology, theology, social movements, agricultural labor unions, literature, forensics (speech and debate), media ecology (i.e., Jacques Ellul)...and of course, my family.
