Introduction	I view life with a sense of humor, in between bouts of worry. Combining these led to this blog. I hope those who see themselves and those who want to add their own idiosyncrasies will connect.

Favorite movies	I can watch Moonstruck over and over. I know the dialogue but never get tired of hearing it. Also, any Meryl Streep movie.
Favorite music	My iPod is an eclectic mix: Emmylou Harris, Klezmer, opera, Joan Baez, Steve Goodman, John Prine, Mozart. I even have one Britney Spears (love the rhythm) and one Amy Winehouse. And I can't seem to hear enough of Mark Anthony singing "Need to Know." In fact, almost everything on my iPod is in a minor key.
Favorite books	Almost anything by: Anita Shreve, Anne Tyler, Jodi Picoult, Sue Miller; books on writing

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

I wouldn't get that far. Unless we're talking about the shower. So, no.
